X-Grip Tyre Range Overview
X-Grip, founded in Styria, Austria, has built a reputation for enduro and motocross tyres with names that sound more like comic book heroes than rubber products—Jack the Gripper, HulkyBoy, Escalator, and Super X-Gear. Each tyre is available in different compounds (Soft, Medium, Medium+, Hard), giving riders the freedom to match their rubber to the terrain and their riding style.

Tread Patterns & Compounds
- Jack the Gripper - FIM-approved competition tyre with a 2/3/2 center-knob pattern. - Available in Soft, Medium, Medium+, and Hard compounds. - Soft grips like Velcro on mud and roots, while Hard shrugs off rocky trails with durability.
- HulkyBoy - A fatty front tyre (90/100) with a chunky tread that looks like it’s been hitting the gym. - Comes in Soft and Hard compounds. - Soft excels in mixed terrain but wears faster, while Hard is the marathon runner—less grip in mud, but it’ll outlast your patience.
- Escalator (Extreme Enduro) - Designed for brutal climbs and gnarly rock gardens. - Only available in one compound—because when you’re scaling cliffs, you don’t need options, you need survival.
- Super X-Gear (Motocross) - Built for speed and aggression on the track. - Single compound, directional tread, and a no-nonsense attitude.

Hard vs. Soft Compounds - Soft Compound: Think of it as the “clingy friend”—sticks to everything, gives insane traction, but wears down faster than your patience in a traffic jam. - Hard Compound: The stoic, long-lasting type. Less grip in mud, but it’ll keep rolling long after softer tyres have cried uncle. - Medium & Medium+: The Goldilocks options—balanced grip and durability, perfect for riders who want versatility without commitment issues.

Why Riders Love Them - Versatility: With multiple compounds and tread designs, X-Grip tyres cover everything from snow and ice to gravel and clay. - Durability Ratings: Each tyre is scored for terrain and longevity, so you can pick the right mix of grip and lifespan. - Comical Branding: Let’s be honest—who doesn’t want to say they’re riding with a HulkyBoy up front and Jack the Gripper out back?

The X-Grip tyre range delivers enduro, motocross, and extreme off-road performance with unique tread patterns and compound choices (Soft, Medium, Hard). Whether you’re clawing up rock faces with the Escalator, blasting tracks with the Super X-Gear, or balancing grip and durability with Jack the Gripper and HulkyBoy, X-Grip tyres combine Austrian precision with playful personality. In short: they grip, they rip, and they’ll make you smile while doing it.
